Guiding talented photography intern Amanda McNaughton, I helped her conceptualize and produce this video photo essay about the horses of the RCMP's musical ride.

Before joining Reuters in Vancouver, photographer Ben Nelms interned at Canadian Geographic. I worked to source the subject and provided editorial guidance as he sunk his teeth into this profile of an urban forager.

CG Photo Club

Each week I used my keen eye for visual storytelling to select a "photo of the week" from among shots submitted by our 65,000-member community as editor of Canadian Geographic's photo club.

I managed photo contests and judging, conducted interviews with professional photographers, edited photography guides, and challenged our members to expand their skills.
